Sleep Quality
The effectiveness of sleep in providing physical and mental recovery.
Sleep quality matters as much as quantity. Good sleep involves sufficient deep sleep and REM stages, minimal interruptions, and feeling rested upon waking. Poor sleep quality impairs recovery, reduces testosterone, increases cortisol, and decreases performance. Sleep hygiene practices improve quality.
