Dynamic Stretching
Moving through ranges of motion repeatedly to warm up muscles and joints.
Dynamic stretching involves controlled movements through ranges of motion, such as leg swings and arm circles. Unlike static stretching, it increases blood flow and body temperature without reducing force production. Dynamic stretching is ideal before training to prepare muscles and joints for exercise.
Examples
- Leg swings before squatting
- Arm circles before pressing
- Walking lunges before lower body workout
