Giant Sets
Performing four or more exercises back-to-back for the same muscle group.
Giant sets involve performing 4+ exercises consecutively without rest, targeting the same muscle group from different angles. This creates extreme metabolic stress and muscle pump, though strength is compromised due to fatigue. Giant sets are best used sparingly for hypertrophy or when time is limited.
Examples
- Bench press → Incline DB press → Cable flyes → Push-ups
- No rest between exercises
- Rest 2-3 minutes between giant sets
