Flexibility
The ability of a joint to move through its full range of motion.
Flexibility refers to the range of motion available at a joint. It is determined by muscle length, joint structure, and nervous system factors. Good flexibility reduces injury risk, improves movement quality, and allows for proper exercise technique. Static stretching, dynamic stretching, and mobility work all contribute to flexibility.
