Microcycle
The shortest training cycle, typically one week of training.
A microcycle is usually one week of training, the smallest repeating unit in periodization. It defines which muscles or movements are trained on which days. Multiple microcycles make up a mesocycle. The microcycle structure depends on your training split and recovery capacity.
