Abductors
The outer hip muscles that move the legs away from the body.
The hip abductors, primarily the gluteus medius and minimus, move the leg away from the midline and stabilize the pelvis during single-leg activities. They are important for squat stability and preventing knee cave. Training includes abductor machine, band walks, and single-leg exercises.
