Set
A group of consecutive repetitions performed without rest.
A set is a series of repetitions performed consecutively without stopping. After completing a set, you rest before performing another set. The number of sets you perform affects your training volume. Research suggests 10-20 sets per muscle group per week for optimal hypertrophy. Rest between sets typically ranges from 30 seconds to 5 minutes depending on your goals.
