Satiety

The feeling of fullness and satisfaction after eating.

Satiety is the feeling of fullness and satisfaction between meals that prevents further eating. Protein is the most satiating macronutrient, followed by fiber-rich carbohydrates and fats. Food volume, water content, and fiber also affect satiety. Understanding satiety helps with appetite control during dieting.
