Caffeine
A stimulant that can enhance exercise performance and mental alertness.
Caffeine is a central nervous system stimulant that can improve exercise performance by 2-5%. It reduces perceived exertion, delays fatigue, and enhances focus. Effective doses are 3-6mg/kg body weight taken 30-60 minutes pre-workout. Tolerance develops with regular use. Some people are caffeine-sensitive.
