Maximum Heart Rate
The highest heart rate achievable during maximal exertion.
Maximum heart rate is the highest heart rate you can achieve during all-out effort. It is commonly estimated as 220 minus age, though individual variation is significant. Max HR is used to calculate training heart rate zones for cardio training. It decreases with age regardless of fitness.
