Rotator Cuff
A group of four muscles that stabilize the shoulder joint.
The rotator cuff comprises four muscles: supraspinatus, infraspinatus, teres minor, and subscapularis. They stabilize the shoulder joint and enable rotation. Rotator cuff injuries are common, especially from overhead pressing and bench pressing. Strengthening these muscles with external rotations and face pulls helps prevent injury.
