Micronutrients

Vitamins and minerals needed in small amounts for health and bodily functions.

Micronutrients include vitamins and minerals required in small quantities for health. Unlike macros, they provide no calories but are essential for energy production, immune function, and countless other processes. A varied diet rich in whole foods typically provides adequate micronutrients without supplementation.
